De wetenschappers hadden een metastudie gedaan van de gedragingen van het DNA van GM voeding en diervoeders in mens en dier. Uit de metastudie blijkt dat het DNA van GM producten zowel de verwerking tot voedingsmiddel als de verteringsprocessen in ons maag/darmkanaal kan overleven.
